碩士 / 國立彰化師範大學 / 商業教育學系 / 99 / This study investigates how foreign investment (FDI) affects the domestic economy and productivity. Our empirical findings show that FDI of Taiwan entrepreneurs has a positive effect on per capita GDP of Taiwan, especially when they expand their business towards the mainland China. Besides, we find that FDI of companies can increase the industrial productivity, mainly in electrical, engineering and the motor industries.
