A Study of the Relationship between Unpaid Leave and Employee’s Work Behavior under the Impacts of Financial Tsunami / 金融海嘯影響下,員工無薪假與員工工作行為關係之探討

碩士 / 國立嘉義大學 / 企業管理學系 / 99 / When enterprises confronted with the impacts of the "Financial Tsunami", all methods to be adopted to reduce costs as usual were reducing employee’s salaries, or layoff, or offering unpaid leave for them. While serious impacts of "Financial Tsunami" were relieved, many employees would be call back to service for their original company to cope with the increasing of market demands. Moreover, some company will begin to recruit new employees. Therefore team work of the workforce would be changed and affected their work behavior.
The electronics industries were confronted more obvious impacts of the "Financial Tsunami" than the traditional industries, so the subjects of this research pinpoint the electronics industries, and a questionnaire survey of 212 samples were collected. Then the relationship of employee’s job performance between unpaid leave and employee’s work behavior under the Impacts of Financial Tsunami were studied by this empirical study.
Research variables including independent variables (the impacts of Financial Tsunami), intermediate variable (team interaction,work adaptation), and dependent variable (job performance) were studied by reliability, validity, factor analysis, correlation, ANOVA, cluster analysis, multiple regression analysis and LISREL analysis. After data analysis, findings and discussions were included as follows:
1.Employees’ job performance was statistically significant affected by the impacts of Financial Tsunami.
2.Employees’ job performance was statistically significant affected by team interaction.
3.Work adaptation was statistically significant affected by team interaction.
4.Employees’ job performance was statistically significant affected by work adaptation.
5.Team interaction was intermediated by the impacts of Financial Tsunami and employees’ job performance.
6.Work adaptation was intermediated by team interaction and employees’ job performance.
7.The impacts of Financial Tsunami were intervened with team interaction and employees’ job performance.
