Lurker behaviour analysis between different types of virtual community- in terms of TPB model / 不同虛擬社群性質間的使用者潛水行為分析-以TPB模型為主

碩士 / 國立嘉義大學 / 資訊管理學系碩士班 / 99 / The lurker has been a problem of virtual community, these lurkers in the virtual community of users accounted for a considerable proportion of big and small through published or not published on virtual community. The existence of these lurker prevented information exchange and maintaining interpersonal in virtual community, but most virtual communities don’t address this issue.
This research contains three main purposes: (1) Understand the reason for domestic users of lurking on virtual communities (2) Understand attitude and intention of lurking behavior (3) Compare lurker behavior between the different types of virtual communities.
A total of 853 questionnaires were collected, and deducted questionnaires of invalid and non-lurkers, the remaining 404 questionnaires. The results showed that 『Expectations of purpose』and 『Personal habits』 of users will affect their attitude of lurking behavior, and 『Affective intimacy』and『Attitude of lurking behavior』will also affect their intention of lurking behavior; in the variance analysis, this research also finds users with significant difference in 『Expectations of purpose』、『Communication』、『Affective intimacy』、『Self-disclosure』、『Verbal intimacy』、『Intention of lurking behavior』and so on about interest and relational type on virtual community.
Academic contribution of this research related to the lurker on the issue, and qualitative research has yet to match the way to quantitative analysis; furthermore, there is less research in the theory of planned behavior perspective to deal with lurking related issues. In practical contribution, make operators and managers of virtual community to more face the problem about lurker in order to understand the needs of lurker. When these large lurkers are willing to post or reply to the article, can further enhance information exchange and maintaining interpersonal of virtual community.
