碩士 / 國立東華大學 / 自然資源與環境學系 / 99 / Environmental Protection Administration of Executive Yuan, R.O.C (Taiwan) has been employing years of agricultural soils investigation and pollution control. Contaminated agricultural soils are classified to be controlled sites and to precede remediation. However, most investigation of agricultural soils is executed at low altitude areas, not for medium and high altitude areas. In this study, is the heavy metals of agricultural soils in Taroko National Park were surveyed. chromium(Cr), copper(Cu), zinc(Zn) and arsenic(As) were analyzed for samples collected from cultivable lands and leaving uncultivated lands. The objectives are to compare the samples from Taroko and other domestic agricultural soils in Taiwan, furthermore to examine the results with foreign case study. To discuss how the industrial and agricultural activities affect agricultural soils, and concentration of heavy metals in different area with One-way analysis of variance. The results showed that there is similarity between the concentration of pollutants in the cultivable soil and in industrial contaminated soil in western Taiwan. Mainly, concentrations of Cr, Zn and As are significant in Taroko, where Cr and As in a particular area are near to the control standards for food crops. The concentration of heavy metals in leaving uncultivated lands is lower than in cultivable lands, but the near to foreign agricultural soils case study. Although there is no farming in leaving uncultivated lands. However, the heavy metals contaminated soils may in fluence ecosystem and environment in this area. The analysis of significance of heavy metals concentration in eastern and western area by One-way ANOVA was indicated the heavy metals expressed by the characteristics of area development.
