A Study of Integrated Military Logistic Information System by Applying Enterprise Architecture -- Illustrated by Applying and Supplying Military Parts / 企業架構應用於國軍後勤資訊系統整合之研究-以零附件申補作業為例

碩士 / 國防大學管理學院 / 資訊管理學系 / 99 / The military logistic system which follows U.S. army framework has changed substantially in the institution, organization and Human Resources after the adjusting project of Force Structure. However, military logistic information system have not updated and integrated yet, and the development of logistic system had not followed the present weapon and equipment in our country. Therefore, it induces problems on supply of maintenance and repairing in the internal organization. Owing to the modern revolution in military, we should inspect current logistics organization structure and operating processes immediately in order to integrate logistics information system.
This study refers military logistics management framework and uses different viewpoints discussing logistic processes by the theory “Department of Defense Architecture Framework” and “Architecture of Integrated Information System”. We take an example of Military Parts Applying and Supplying Process awarded by Department of Defense and exploit models of DoDAF and ARIS. According to the viewpoints of organization, date, function and product, this tool provides operational process with detail description.
This paper provides combined logistics models of DoDAF and ARIS in logistics field. We expect to make sure the framework of logistic process in order for providing solution and reference that could improve the military logistic processes and integrate the military logistic information systems. Finally, we hope to assist Department of Defense achieving the goal of precision logistics management and rapid logistics support.
