ABSTRACT
The construction of Yi-Lan area sewage system has been started from 1999. During its construction stage, the facility of Water Resource Recycling Center, the main and the branch pipe network projects, or the user-connecting work, all achieved quite considerable performances, and therefore countless practice experiences has been accumulated. The overall experience of the project construction includes: being unable to get out the pit, the underground soil barrier, the mechanical breakdown, the pipe’s underground elevation error, the push tube breaking, the top land heaving or settling, and the unexpected sudden break. This paper deeply studied the aforementioned issues to propose the possible solutions. The attention of the authors is to provide the useful experiences for the future reference of engineering practice. Hopefully, it may also provid the efficiency to other similar projects.
