Offshore Islands Development Act passed was in 2009, which also seems to represent Taiwan's gaming industry will be implemented. Penghu referendum failed to set the tourists casino, so that we can re-examine the casino industry, including the discussion of the location, in addition to the outlying islands, the island should be more than the possibility of space. This study is to establish tourist casinos in the maritime space.
The purpose of this study was to explore the area of maritime space that development to build the tourist casino. This study was to understand that tourist casino meaning and connotation by collection of relevant literature. To explore the development and utilization of maritime space in Taiwan, and to get things square the feasibility to become integrated resort in Taiwan maritime space. As well as by interviews with professional, government officials, and the public, will have a preliminary understanding of this research study. Also assist with foreign case to explore the feasibility of this study.
This paper was used the grounded theory study method to collect and analyze the interview data. The research using open coding, axial coding and selective coding to gradually deepened and analyze data. The result found that connect with maritime space development integrated resort and tourism geography. Also, through the process by data collection and analysis, and provide the direction for integrated resort development in the future.
