A Study of Offline Measurement System for Ships / 船舶離線式量測系統之研究

碩士 / 國立高雄海洋科技大學 / 海洋工程科技研究所 / 99 / The purpose of this paper is to develop an offline measurement system for ships. This system focuses on measuring the strains and accelerations of hull and equipment. Accelerometers and strain gages are used to measure the acceleration and strains respectively. Temperature measured by thermocouple is used to correct and ensure the measurement precision. GPS is used to measure the position, speed, and motion status of ships. To record the operation information of a ship, an SD card is utilized to store the on-board acquired data, which is later analyzed when the ship returns to port.
This research utilized the National Instrument (NI) C series I/O modules for embedded control and system monitoring. The data acquisition software was developed in LabVIEW. On-board testing was performed on a small high speed craft and the proposed offline measurement system for ships is proven feasible in this study.
