碩士 / 國立高雄海洋科技大學 / 輪機工程研究所 / 99 / In this study, the concept of close-loop control system is employed to design a Control system with automatic starting and resuming functions for emergency quick-closing valve used by marine vessels. Through invention of such an automatic control system of emergency quick-closing valve, which is a necessary device of vessel, it is hoped to assist in accomplishment of the goal of vessel automation.
The main engines and auxiliary engines of vessels are mainly powered by fuel. Therefore, vessels are always equipped with a multi-outlet oil tank that is stored with a lot of fuel. Hence, the control of the safety of fuel is an important issue to vessels designers and users. All the outlets of the fuel tank of vessel have to be equipped with emergency fuel quick-closing valve. When a certain part of a vessel has an unexpected condition being judged to be endangering the safety of the vessel, this valve has to be closed quickly and immediately in order to block and separate the flow of fuel.
The system uses a design way of a typical close-loop control system. The Related sensing signal of emergency quick-closing valve for marine use serves as the Starting signal. Besides, the pneumatic control and server positioning control serve as the controllers for emergency starting and subsequent resuming of the valve. Through actual making, and from the result of experimental proof, it is known that the automatic control system of emergency quick-closing valve for marine use invented by the study has its practicality.
