A Study on Relation between Noise Level and Wind Speed at an Offshore Wind Farm / 濱海風力發電噪音與風速關係之研究

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 海洋環境資訊學系 / 99 / The purpose of this study is to understand the correlation among the wind direction, wind speed and noise level in order to obtain relation under different wind speeds and directions, as well as probe into the noise attenuation with the increase of distance. In the process of the study, a wind power generator system was considered as the center of the noise source and noise levels were measured from the 8 directions of a wind-rose diagram and then analyzed. The results of the study show that when the wind speed is lower or unstable, the measuring results are subject to the influence of surrounding road traffic, human activities and environmental noises, indicating an irregular state. When the wind speed is between 4 m/s and 6 m/s, it is hard to notice the correlation between the wind speed and noise level, especially when the wind speed is in an unstable state. When the wind speed is between 6 m/s and 10 m/s, the noise level rises significantly with the increase of the wind speed. When the wind speed reaches 10 m/s and above, the noise level shows a flat trend, moving within the range of around 1 dB (instrumental error: ±0.7 dB). The reason is that when the wind speed reaches the rated wind speed, the rotation speed of the wind turbine blades does not increase with the increase of the wind speed and the noise produced by the wind turbine continues to remain at nearly the same noise level. In addition, as shown in the regression analysis of the wind speed measurements, it clearly shows the relation between the wind speed and noise level and its trend.
In terms of the relation between the noise characteristics of wind turbines and the distance, it is shown that the noise attenuates with the increase of the distance. In addition, as shown in the logistic regression analysis, the correlation between the noise characteristics of wind turbines and the distance is obvious. The conventional noise-distance attenuation formula is predictable.
