The Relationships of Organizational Culture, Personality and Performance among ROC, PRC and HK: The Case Study of Ocean Freight Forwarder / 兩岸三地組織文化、人格特質、績效關係研究—以海運承攬運送業為例

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 航運管理學系 / 99 / Organizational Culture is the common belief and general standard in management, and Personality is one’s characteristic, both has very significant influence to organizational performance and development, to an extent, performance comes from organization on one hand, and comes from personality on another, or even so they both come to influentially at the same time.

Shanghai port has become the world number one port in the record of 2010, Hong Kong seated on 3rd place just behind Shanghai and Singapore, in last few years the signed and enforced for opening direct sailing and ECFA treaty had benefited mutual trading activities, and in this, ocean freight is the main model of transportation.

This study is aiming for the analysis the relationships of Organizational Culture, Personality and Performance among ROC, PRC and HK, using the research method of Multiple Regression Analysis (MRA) experimenting if the assumptions were true or false, and discoveries are these three regions held the same conclusion regarding Organizational Culture, they all been considered as most important result to performance. But they held slightly differences in conclusion regarding Personality, they emphasized in hard working and be responsible、down to earth、without avoiding liabilities in working attitude, also it shows HK and PRC region has more significant emphasize in this topic. As to the performance point of view, they all held the conclusions which is promoting the rate of yield in companies and performance in financial report as most operating goal. The discoveries in this study though MRA method to be concluded as below the influence from Organizational Culture to Personality is significant、the influence from Organizational Culture to Performance is significant and the influence from Personality to Organization Culture is significant.
