碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 航運管理學系 / 99 / Shipping industry belongs to international industry, in which liner shipping industry in operating and managerial environment is very complicated and face the fierce competition in global market, liner shipping companies heavily rely on information system to promote their competitiveness and reduce their operation cost. Information system became an indispensable competitive tool from the role of supporting tool in the past and was internalized to core activity in the organization as well gradually.
However, under the circumstance of limited resources, how to seize the critical success factors of information system in shipping industry to keep their competitiveness advantage then assure the sustained development of the enterprise really is an issue worthy to be researched for.
Firstly, through literature review, this study develops the success factors to information system in liner shipping company. Then, the research methods, questionnaire survey, importance analysis and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) are utilized to obtain the critical success factors of information system in liner shipping company.
