Development of the Driftwood Arts Teaching Module for Changing Junior High Students’ Ecological Attitudes – Infusing Marine Education and Environmental Education into the Teaching of Arts & Humanities / 漂流木藝術教學模組對國中生生態觀影響之研究-融合「海洋教育」、「環境教育」議題於「藝術與人文」領域為例

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 教育研究所 / 99 / The formation of the driftwood that normalizes day by day is due to global warming. This phenomenon for the island of Taiwan should not be ignored. The driftwood is actually valuable renewable resource, and it has some value in the humanities, arts and ecology. The driftwood waits for all quarters to promote and utilize. Therefore, the researcher who is an Arts and Humanities teacher in the junior high school develops the theme of the driftwood teaching module which combines "Marine Education" and "Environmental Education" two issues into "Arts and Humanities" curriculum. Teaching modules can be understood and reviewed the effectiveness by action research, and make improvements to enhance the feasibility of the teaching modules. Using the NEP scale to test the teaching module affects on students’ ecological viewpoints.
The major findings of this studying are as follows:
1. The "driftwood" can be a theme of the teaching modules, can infuse "Marine Education" and "Environmental Education" two issues into "Arts and Humanities ".
2. Through the development process of "prototype module, refined prototype modules and renew modules" can improve the quality of teaching modules.
3. The driftwood art teaching module which enhance the ecology of the students has a positive impact.
4. "Marine Education" and "Environmental Education" into "Arts and Humanities" of the effect obtains an affirmative by students.
5. Field visits to the sea environment near the school of close to the marine activities, can implement effectively marine education.
Results of the research provide the school teachers who care marine education and environmental education, and provide some suggestions to the school.
