A study of inertial navigation system with MEMS sensor and GPS / 微機電(MEMS)感應器與GPS於慣性導航之研究

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 電機工程學系 / 99 / The past, many high-end sensors, because the price is too high, can only be used for military purposes, but as MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Technology) the rapid development of the plummeting price of the sensor to reach the market can accept the price, but this study use gyroscope mainly in the GPS/INS, because of inertial navigation system, cumulative error over time, the results will diverge over time, so the combination of GPS, as the application.
However, GPS signal is easily affected by external factors such as weather and terrain. The effect can be critical, in some adverse place environments can result in a poor GPS signal or sometime no signal at all. Therefore, a mean to provide uninterrupted positioning services has been a crucial issue when it comes to navigation technology. Integrated navigation systems have become the next generation navigation technology. Integrated navigation systems can be to achieve a continuous, uninterrupted positioning service. In this study, a microcontroller was connected to the OBDII interface scanner to gain car’s speed from the car’s computer. The system also detects the angular rotation from the gyroscope MEMS device. Then the micro-controller, run all the calculations, and then came the results of calculations done.
