碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 環境生物與漁業科學學系 / 99 / The study conducted the four seasons of each 12 sampling stations with CTD observation from Fishery Researcher Ιin the waters surrounding Taiwan, Penghu, during January, March, July, and October, 2008. Besides, using the fuzzy classification method, it explored the waters of nutrients and chlorophyll-a group of space-temporal with water mass distribution structure, and adopted the cross- classification analysis to examine the relationship among the three variables. The results of the fuzzy classification method showed that the experimental area in the winter, spring, summer and autumn of water mass structure could be divided into 8, 10, 5 and 5 types of water masses, the nutrients could be divided into 7, 13, 5 and five block types, and chlorophyll a could be divided into 9, 9, 8 and 8 block types. Also, the findings of the cross-classification analysis between various types of temperature and season with salt groups such as nutrients and chlorophyll a block indicated that the three variables were strongly related to one another. The strong association displayed that low-nutrient blocks were mainly located in the high temperature and high salinity water mass, and high-nutrient blocks were located in the upwelling water near the intersection of cold and warm water masses. As for Chlorophyll a with high concentrations, it was located in high-nutrient blocks surrounding waters. In addition, this study also found that in the summer of 2008, due to a large number of river water flowing into the sea during the rainy season in June, there was a high-temperature 、low-salinity and high-nutrient water intrusion, coupled with the summer sunshine, making more nutrient-rich convert faster and chlorophyll a on the surface of the sea water largely outbreak.
