This study aims to establish a marine environment education information system which provides Map-based information. Firstly, Using google earth to establish spatial database that contains thirty-four lighthouses , two hundred twenty-five fishing ports, four international ports , two industrial ports , two yacht harbors , a naval port , seven hundred and fifteen Mazu Temple , thirty-nine beaches , eighteen marine pollution events and four sections of seacoast distributions . Then, by using Google Map API and Adobe Dreamweaver CS4, I integrate database and homepage.The Marine Environment Education information system provides Map-based information ,movies and situation simulation to introduce coastal topography , maritime cultural landscape and the change of maritime. Finally I design courses and teach in junior high school.The students think that the Marine Environment Education information system can help to enhance knowledge of the marine environment of Taiwan and increase interest in learning.
