碩士 / 國防大學政治作戰學院 / 新聞碩士班 / 99 / Abstract
After the Communist China declared the strategies of Three Warfares in 2003, all kinds of media warfare against Taiwan have been used ever since. Although the cross-strait relationship has been almost quiet after the second turnover of the ruling party, the Communist China hided their real purpose and did so-called“non-violation war”during this peace period. On December 31, 2008 Hu Jintao presented his six announcements against Taiwan which became the most powerful document against Taiwan. The Communist China used“Hu Six”to control the communications media and to do various media warfare against Taiwan.
Thus, this study used “Peoples Daily” Overseas Edition as a research subject, and its contents as an analysis method, from the Communist China’s angle on media warfare and the differences of repoting and strategies against Taiwan, as well as using the power of newspaper to promote the points, before and after “Hu Six”.
This study found out that, after the announcement of “Hu Six”, the articles on “People’s Daily” Overseas Edition had shown significant differences on its topics, directions and themes, as well as its announcement stratgies and tactics. All have clearly demonstrated the Communist China’s plans and policies on Taiwan.
Although, after the announcements of “Hu Six” the cross-strait relationships have been developed peacefully and stably, it is esstential to realize that we are only in a transition period during which the Communist China uses its tactics to reach its ultimate goal of reunite the two straits.
