Analysis of Cabin Flow in Wheeled Armored Vehicle / 八輪甲車艙內流場模擬分析

The past, armored vehicles equipped with the firepower and excellent protection equipment-based armored vehicle production and assembly of most of the thick, closed shell, causing the cabin power equipment and internal parts of the heat source can not efficiently dissipate heat, and finally the formation of high temperature, could easily lead to the cabin precision equipment instrument damage, inability to concentrate and also to make the will of the combatants, the impact of combat power play.
In computational fluid dynamics (CFD), this study uses a commercial software package FLUENT, set three different wind speeds and three different exhaust port location not consider the chemical reaction, the standard k-ε turbulence module, solving the vehicle cabinvelocity and temperature changes, and then calculate the thermal comfort index (PMV), thermal comfort are not satisfied with the index index (PPD) and the best temperature, to explore their comfort in order to seek the optimum exhaust port configuration.
Simulations show that in CASE_A (original design), fully closed state when the armored vehicle, air-conditioning system is fully open, the cabin heat flow field in the cabin front-end liquidity is poor, and driver's ambient temperature is higher than other locations to take stafflong driving easy sultry cause uncomfortable phenomenon, therefore, prepared two sets of different exhaust outlet location, as to improve the program.
This result of study shows , when CASE_B wind speed 0.5m / s, the temperature dropped to 29℃,the PMV value is 0.5, the thermal comfort is a comfortable state, under the same wind speed and time, the cabin preceding temperature dropped by about 5 than the original design℃, the compartment internal to get good circulation, enhance driving satisfaction.
