With the globalization and facing the fast development of China, Taiwan should be performing mutually dependent but complementary on the global supply-chain manufacturing. Undoubtedly, for the purpose of rising up the global competition of Taiwan on the world, the direct flights across Taiwan Strait reveal its importance.
It is widely believed that direct flight across Taiwan Strait would be a real help about our economy because of the huge travel time and cost saving and thus can be reached its attach the other efficiency gains. However, there were only a few researches focused on this important topic in the past years. In this study, we select the route of the Yangtze River region and the Hai Xite region to compare the two districts the number of airline passenger is a significant difference or not, as the reference of an airline's operating management.
