碩士 / 正修科技大學 / 運動健康與休閒所 / 100 / The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of different
paddling position on morphological characteristics and performances of
dragon boat athletes’ talent identification and periodization. Methods: twenty
four Taiwan national dragon boat team athletes of 2010 Asian Games were
recruited for this study, average age: 20.29±SD years old, height: 171.99±SD
cm, weight: 69.91±SD kg. All participants were divided into three groups
according to paddling positions; front, center and rear seats. Body
compositions and special fitness data were collect and analysis by pair t-test
and oneway ANOVA. Results: the data of special fitness tests among pre-,
mid- and post-tests of 1500meters field running, bench press and bench pull
had shown significant differences(319.42±19.55, 324.58±22.51, 306.29±13.49
sec; 94.90±10.41, 96.25±10.58, 102.50±11.11 kg; 86.04±8.78, 89.06±8.99,
92.60±9.57 kg, p<.05 ) respectively. Although average bench press and pull
performance of all rowers increased 6.91% and 4.84% respectively, and even
V ‧O2max of center better than rear positions, however, three tests mentioned
above still did not shown significant differences (p>.05).Conclusions:
according to our results, we suggested that training program and paddling
position of dragon boat events shall in accordance with biomechanical
requirements, that increases rowing efficiency and higher boat speed.
