A Multi-objective Optimization for Green Supply Chain Network Design in Considering Transportation Mode Selection / 考量運輸模式之多目標最佳化綠色供應鏈網絡設計

碩士 / 中原大學 / 工業與系統工程研究所 / 100 / Global warming has become an intensified issue because of increasing economic activities and the abundance of emission the industry department and transportation make. Kyoto Protocol provides for the responsibility of countries to reduce greenhouse gases, in order to effectively control greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate climate change. In the past, the objective of traditional supply chain was economic consideration. However, the increased carbon dioxide has led to the environmental sustainability becoming another objective, which cannot be ignored. Therefore, this research considers not only the cost but also environment protection to design a multi-objective optimization model. With multi-period customer demands, the model can solve a multi-plant resource allocation and production planning problem focusing the decisions on the suppliers’ selection, facilities selection, lot-size, transportation modes selection, and how to distribute materials and commodities of a green supply network. This research applies the normalized normal constraint method to solve the concerned multi-objective problem. Through numerical analyses, some managerial insights are concluded at the end. The proposed model, which simultaneously considers the environmental and economic developments, is expected to be a reference for the enterprises with global allocation.
