Why Don’t I Travel Alone Overseas?-A Study to Explore the Barrier Factors for Females to Be Backpackers / 為什麼我不敢一個人去旅行?女性海外自助旅行進入阻礙之因素初探

碩士 / 大葉大學 / 管理學院碩士在職專班 / 100 / This research aimed at the factors associated with the entry barrier, risk perception and overseas travel intention with the females joined group independent tour from Taichung City and Changhua County, but they never become backpackers. Using a convenience sampling, Of the 500 questionnaires distributed, 390 were completed returned, and the data were analyzed by SPSS12. The results indicated that:
1. A majority of sample were females, 31-40 years, university educated, no married, with a monthly income of 10,001-30,000 dollars.
2. There were significant differences in entry barrier with different background.
3. There were significant differences in risk perception with different background.
4. There was a significant positive relationship between time risk, body risk, social risk, financial risk, and travel experience to entry barrier.
5. There was a significant positive relationship between structural constraints、intrapersonal constraints、regular traveling and the scope of traveling country to overseas travel intention. When the index numbers of structural constraints、intrapersonal constraints and the scope of traveling country descend, the index numbers of overseas travel intention raised. The index numbers of regular traveling raised, the index numbers of overseas travel intention raised.
