The Effect of Cross-Strait Sports Exchange on the Development of Sports in Taiwan / 海峽兩岸體育交流對台灣體育運動發展影響之研究─從整合理論的觀點分析

碩士 / 佛光大學 / 政治學系 / 100 / This study aimed to explore the Cross-Strait sports exchanges. With the economic development and social progress, the status of sport has become increasingly important. It not only eliminates the obstacles of original Cross-Strait exchanges on politics, economy, society and physical environment but eases up the Cross-Strait embarrassed atmosphere as well as strengthens mutual exchanges. The exchanges of Cross-Strait sport can be divided into three parts-competitive sport exchanges, academic exchanges, and business exchanges which are discussed in this article.
  This study analyzed the collection of official documents and academic articles by using Qualitative Research Methods, Historical Analysis and Documentary Analysis. The conclusion includes:
1. Through Strait Cross exchanges, both sides have the opportunity to joint train contestants, complement weaknesses, and strengthen its competition, and then get the finally glory in our sports arena.
2. Through multi-sport academic learning, such as obtain credits, exchange students or academic qualification, cross-strait students could get more good experiences in the future.
3. Sports exchange is a field with great potential value and significant development. The policy of cross-strait exchanges aim to the accession of WTO and come into the current “Three Links” status, and moreover reduce the existence of the old exchange hinders.
  In conclusion, establishing cross-strait sports information platform and window could be the main direction in the future.
  Based on the above research, expect to provide the reference to domestic and international researchers of sports development, and as a basis of the development of sports policy in the future.
