The purpose of this study was to examine the tactical strategy models in Rowing competition. The sujects was selected 137 teams from the first 6th place of 2006 world Rowing Championship. Through data analyze and discussed .The results showed: From 137 teams,117 teams (85%) adopted Best Classical tactical model; 12 teams (9%) adopted Leap Decline model; 8 teams (6%) adopted Average Section model. In 23 winning teams,20 teams (87%) adopted Best Classical model , 3 teams (13%) adopted Leap Decline model.
In conclusion. The best model in Rowing competition strategy was Best Classical model. It could be applied for training and competition
