Many pictures are included for illustrative purposes.
Taiwan is a beautiful island surrounded by the seas. There are breath-taking sceneries in the mountains or at seaside. A good creation is always based on a solid understanding of the subject matter. The author in fact gains a deeper knowledge about Taiwan along his/her creative path. This creative journey broadens his/her horizon, allowing the author to present this piece of land where he/she grew up with newly acquired techniques.
The veteran painters mentioned in this paper also help the author to extend his/her perspective and enable him/her to express his emotions for this beautiful island with a wide range of painting techniques and skills.
