碩士 / 國立高雄應用科技大學 / 電機工程系 / 100 / This thesis proposes to develop a Programmable Logic Controller(PLC) based energy- saving control and simulation system of main engine ea water pump in the laboratory. The proposed system can implement the concept of heating network into demand side management, and apply variable frequency control technique to auto regulate the intake flow of main engine sea water cooling pump, which the strategy can effectively reduce the unnecessary power consumption. Besides, the control system also improves the shortcoming of the traditional sea water pump operates at full speed, which sailing at the low temperatures seas or low thermal load conditions to meet the goals of reducing carbon emissions and improve energy efficiency. Finally, the achievements obtained from the proposed system will be applied to analysis and evaluate the control performance and energy saving efficiency as for a reference for designing and implementing a practical ship system in the future.
