碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 交通管理學系碩博士班 / 100 / This study aims to examine the effects of supply Chain collaboration on firm’s competitive advantage and organizational performance in the container shipping industry. Data collected from 172 respondents who working in the container shipping companies. A factor analysis and structural equation model were employed. Results indicated that internal collaboration had a positive effect on external collaboration and competitive advantage, whereas external collaboration had a positive influence on competitive advantage and organizational performance. However, the impact of internal collaboration on organizational performance was not supported in this study. This implies that external collaboration and competitive advantage play a mediating role between internal collaboration and organizational performance. Managerial implication and strategic suggestions from the research findings for shipping companies were discussed in this research.
