The Study of Factors Influencing the Abroad Assignment Willingness of Employees Working for Overseas Investing Companies ----For Cases of Traditional Food Industry Investing in Asia / 影響海外投資廠商員工接受派外意願之因素探討-以食品傳統產業投資亞洲為例

碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 高階管理碩士在職專班(EMBA) / 100 / In the time of globalization, unlike the electronic industry, Taiwan’s Food Industry does not have as great an influence in the world. The government in Taiwan generally emphasizes on the electronics industry instead of the food industry. If Taiwan’s food manufacturers want to be able to compete with Coca Cola, Pepsi, Nestle and Unilever and occupy a place in the international market, they ought to invest and enter Asian developing and emerging markets, such as Mainland China.
In order to have the business run smoothly, overseas human resources are the most vital along with capital, equipment, and product. Overseas’ staff have a great responsibility for the company’s development, management, and spirit.
This study puts Taiwan’s food industry supervisors having a greater chance to be assigned to work overseas as samples. The study method is to use Multiple Regression Analysis to research the cause of affecting staff’s willingness to work overseas. In this study data, 370 questionnaires were sent out and 198 valid ones were collected.
The result of this study goes as follows.
1) Career planning, income structure and family issue have no significant influence on staff’s willingness to work overseas.
2) The ability of solving conflicts and the work place have significant influence on staff’s willingness to work overseas.
