The Research of Costal Vegetation Ecology of A-Lang-Yi Trail / 阿朗壹古道海岸植群生態之研究

碩士 / 國立嘉義大學 / 森林暨自然資源學系研究所 / 100 / The circumscription of the study is from Natian Village, the boundary between Pingtung and Taitung County, along the south of River Tawa, to the north of SUREHIGH Village, Mudan Township, containing some of the roads Beinan Road (A-Lang-Yi Trail) in the former Lang Bridge (Hengchun). From north to south, the 12 km coastline is one of the few remaining coastal forests in Taiwan. Between the narrow seashore of the high-water mark and the first mountain crest line, the environmental factors have been observed by setting 25 sample areas in 10 × 10 for the woody plants, and with Linear intercept method, 36 30-meter sample lines for the herbal plants. Using the two-way indicator species analysis (TWINSPAN) of the multivariate analysis method and the detrended correspondence analysis (DCA) of the distribution sequence method, we classified the types of plant community, and further explored the relationship between the environment and the composition of the vegetation in the various areas.
According to the Two-way indicator species analysis, the study divided the woody vegetation samples into four units: the forest of Hibiscus tiliaceus- Cerbera manghas, the forest of Drypetes littoralis-Aglaia formosana, the forest of Diospyros eriantha- Champereia manillana, the forest of Gordonia axillaris- Cinnamomum reticulatum. The ground cover vegetation could be divided into four units: the group of Mariscus pedunculatus-Spinifex littoreus, the group of Canavalia maritime-Ipomoea pes-caprae, the group of Vigna marina- Wedelia biflora, the group of Phoenix hanceana- Alpinia zerumbet, the group of Cymbopogon tortilis- Alpinia zerumbet. Further more, the group of canavalia could be divided into the group of Vigna marina- Wedelia biflora, and the group of Scaevola hainanensis-Pandanus odoratissimus.
The vegetation distribution is mainly affected by the environmental factors, such as the altitude, the topography, the aspect, the rate with stone, and the distance from the sea.
Based on the surveyed data, there are 94 families, 231 genera and 293 species of vascular plant, including 11 families and 12 genera, 19 species of Pteridophyte, 1 families, 1 genera and 1 species of Gymnosperms, 68 families, 178 genera and 228 species of Dicotyledon, 14 families, 40 genera and 45 species of Monocotyledon, and 1 families, 1 genera and 1 species of Taiwan's native orchid.
Among them, Nageia nagi and Myrica adenophora were Critically Endangered(CR );Caesalpinia bonduc, Garcinia multiflor, Crepidiastrum taiwanianum and Thespesia populne were Endangered(EN); Cinnamomum reticulatum, Drypetes littoralis, Hernandia nymphiifolia, Barringtonia asiatica were Vulnerable(VU); Liodendron formosanum, Eurya nitida, Diospyros ferrea and Diospyros philippensis were Near Threatened(NT)。
There are over twenty.percents of Taiwan's endemic species, such as Cinnamomum reticulatum, Lindera akoensis, Eurya nitida, Aglaia formosana, Garcinia multiflor, Litsea hypophaea, Machilus zuihoensis, Crateva adansonii, Schima superba, Eriobotrya deflexa, Hibiscus taiwanensis, Ardisia cornudentat, Tarenna gracilipes, Liriope mino, Dolichos trilobu, Kalanchoe garambiensis, Calamus quiquesetinervius, Sida rhombifolia, Crepidiastrum taiwanianum, Gynura divaricata, Besides, Trichoglottis rosea, can be seen there.
