A Study of the Riding Satisfaction for Wooden Bikeway-A Case Study of Kaohsiung City West Harbor Loop Bikeway / 自行車木棧道騎乘滿意度之探討-以高雄市西臨港線自行車道為例

碩士 / 國立嘉義大學 / 林產科學暨家具工程學系研究所 / 100 / This research surveyed the satisfaction of riding on the wooden bikeway in Kaohsiung City. Focus on the route of Kaohsiung West Harbor Loop. The purpose of research was on the situation of the satisfaction for riding on the wooden bikeway as well as satisfaction for riding the bikeway. The research used the structured questionnaire to survey.
The research used statistics software SPSS 18.0 (Statistical Package for the Social Science) and AMOS 18.0 (Analysis of Moment Structures) to deal with the statistics and analyses. By convenience sampling of non-probabilistic sampling methods to implement respond survey, 400 questionnaires have been distributed. The response rate was 100% and all are valid. The results have been found as the following: Within the basic information of the respondents, who rode the Kaohsiung’s wooden plank bikeway, (1) Male rider had a higher ratio (58.0%). (2) Rider`s age level from 26 to 35 years old accounted for most (37.0%). (3) Riding career belonging to the students accounted for most (33.2%). (4) The rider's education level of university or two-year technological program accounted for most (29.5%). (5) The rider's marital status of the unmarried accounted for most (50.0%). (6) The rider's place of residence in Kaohsiung City accounted for most (83.3%). Respondents to bicycle usage, (1) Specific trip for the riding mostly (82.0%). (2) The bike type of mini velo (small wheel) or a folding bike mostly (40.2%). (3) The average fregnency is once a week mostly (45.5%). (4) The bike age from 1 up to 3 years mostly (53.3%). (5) self-riding this lane mostly (47.5%). (6) The favorite riding section is West Harbor Loop bike routes mostly (70.0%). (7) The most required improvement is to make pavement even (78.5%). (8) The favorite laying material is PU mostly (44.7%).
According to factor analysis of the satisfaction for riding wooden bikeway, that extracted the four factors, the total variance explained is 77.2%. And factor analysis of satisfaction for riding the bike extracted the two factors, that total variance explained is 70.92%
Within the analysis of route, The path coefficient for “The satisfaction survey for riding bikeway versus riding wooden bikeway” is 0.27, The path coefficient for “The satisfaction survey for riding wooden bikeway versus riding bikeway” is 0.72.
Both of satisfaction surveys were appeared a positive correlation. The satisfaction for riding on wooden bikeway and the satisfaction for riding on bikeway had a direct relationship.
