碩士 / 國防大學管理學院 / 資訊管理學系 / 100 / There are hundreds of fishing (commercial) ports located along the lengthy Taiwanese coast line. In addition to the support from legislation, in order to fulfill the coast guarding duties nowadays, including law enforcement at sea and coast, the use of information system has become another topic worth to examine and study. However, the mental resistance from members of the group is a crucial factor that causes the information system investment to fail. Therefore, one of the most important factors for introducing information system is to resolve group members’ mental resistance toward the new system.
This research integrally analyzes Technology Acceptance Model and the Belief-Desire-Intention model as the main topic, combing with Integrated IS Success Model, to investigates the factors which effecting the intention to use the “Coast Guard Information System” by the members of the Northern Coastal Patrol Office. From the interview with experts, this research proposes assumptions and questions from different perspective, and further establishes the measuring item in the survey. After conducting surveys and analyzing statistical information, this research achieves the following conclusions:
System quality, information quality and service quality all have certain degrees of impact on perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness for system. Besides, not only perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness have significant influence on user’s desires, but also user’s desires have significant influence on user’s intentions for using system. Thus, to solve the mental resistance from members of the group for using system, system quality, information quality and service quality have to use to improve user’s beliefs and to satisfy user’s desires. Furthermore, by closely investigating this research, it will provide an effective suggestion for improving the Coast Guard Information System.
