碩士 / 國立宜蘭大學 / 建築與永續規劃研究所碩士班 / 100 / The Jiaosi hot springs place is one of the most important hot spring fields in Taiwan, and its environmental features are different from other hot spring places. Convenience, safety and abundance are the geographical advantages of the hot springs. Jiaosi hot spring’s ancient location, “Tang Wai”, has a long human history which is the central place of the Jiaosi hot springs development. The public construction, public Jacuzzi and health spa are the main objectives of the hot springs development, providing welfare facilities for different classes of users. Although they have attained the cultural characteristic of Taiwan's premier hot springs, Jiaosi hot springs are in a stage of saturation. The government policy plan is expected to design” Qilidan” as a new hot springs place, expand the layout of the Jiaosi city plan and create a new health and leisure hot springs town.
The local features and uniqueness of Jiaosi hot springs are the goals of its future development. How to discover its special characteristics through an overall comprehensive environmental evaluation, how to separate it from other hot spring areas and find out what really belongs to the hot spring’s local texture, the hot spring’s special features are within its own environmental characteristics. To have a chance of maintaining sustainability, they should be used reasonably and under a suitable environment. In reference to the environmental features, we must be familiar with the characteristics of the local environment so as to gradually gain trust and recognition for the place, and to obtain recognition from local residents and tourists.
As the concept of leisure expands, the uniqueness of the hot springs is an important direction in the development of the Jiaosi hot springs, combined with the diversity of the hot spring industry, hot spring crops, hot spring dining, hot spring water treatments, hot spring treatments, hot spring health care, etc. so as to transform it into a rising modern hot spring industry. This research is based on the theory of a major analysis of Jiaosi hot spring place’s continuous process of change within its space, and combines the advantages of the relevant theories to describe the developing situation in the Jiaosi hot springs space.
Summing up, “The Developing Model For Jiaosi Hot Spring Spaces”, “ The Spirit Of Jiaosi Hot Spring Location Culture”, “ The Local Features And Uniqueness”, “ The Developing Model For Public Construction” and “The Model For Hot Spring Health” are the five main theories needed to understand the characteristics of the uniqueness and localization of Jiaosi hot springs, and to further research and study the spirit of localization within the spaces.
