碩士 / 國立高雄海洋科技大學 / 水產養殖研究所 / 100 / In Taiwan, ornamental fish’s export value is around NT$ 1 hundred million, major sales to the United States and Europe. Ornamental fish’s air transport technology is particularly important. In order to increase ornamental fish export competitiveness, it is necessary to develop new species and transport technology. In this study, C. leptosoma as the experimental fish. MS-222, clove oil and 2-phenoxyethanol were used to test the adaptability of different anesthetic. The optimum anesthetic concentration: 150 mg/l for MS-222, 75 mg/l for clove oil and 500 mg/l for 2-phenoxyethanol. The best sedation effect is MS-222, secondly is clove oil. The worst is 2-phenoxyethanol. Clove oil reduce the total ammonia is best. Other anesthetics are no effect. The results of the simulation of air transport, the clove oil is the best for C .leptosoma. Clove oil can reduce mortality and total ammonia concentration in air transportation.
