A RAM Analysis of the Signalling System of Taiwan Railways Administration / 可靠度分析運用於鐵路運輸系統-以臺灣鐵路號誌系統為例

碩士 / 國立高雄第一科技大學 / 電腦與通訊工程研究所 / 100 / Since 1887 The TRA has been in operation for over 120years,with significant quantities of legacy equipment combined with some new technology (e.g.ATP.Alex).Working level staffs are required to assimilate new techniques methods, management and tran safty to achieve the senior management goal of maintaining the service and increasing performance. To achieve this TRA plans to develop its capability to reduce costs and functional failures and totransform to a node-to-node short/middle distance railway operation (most long distance travel is currently via THSR). To achieve this, signaling becomes a more important factor in areas where TRA operates as a ‘Metro System’, i.e.high transport density and short headway. To achieve a high level of equipment maintainability and move towardscentralised control and regulation through the CTC .The network has a Centralised Traffic Control ( CTC ) installed by Japanese contractor at Taipei Main Station that controls signaling equipment across the whole island(about 1100 route KM of mixed signal and double track).Recently TRA fitted an island-wide ATP overlay system providing ETCS level 1 functionality.Axle Counters provide redundancy for train detection with existing DC track circuite at key locations. The TRA signaling system is reported as suffering from a high failure ratecausing significant service delays. The failures reported are not all as a result of equipment defects with a significant proportion attributable to outside influence(operation and engineering disturbances), Therefore this article is conducts the analytical study take Tainan to the Bingdong sector as the example, and affects the signal system by the exterior revolution event to take the research, inducts the RAM parsing technique by the open style rail haulage, will take reference of the Taiwan railroad signal system future
