According to the survey data, descriptive statistics and inferential statistics for data analysis, and came to the following conclusion:
1.This study measured background to higher proportion of males, ages focused on 31-40,Junior College degree, career highest proportion of business and services and monthly revenue focus NT .35,001 to 60,000, dive approximately 2-4 years of age and have experience of more than 100 air cylinders; motivation with "intellectual pursuit" the highest recreational benefits to "social benefit" the highest.
2. Recreational diving areas with different background variables Kenting shaped differences of participant motivation:
(1) Participant background variables in the current place of residence, monthly income and diving experiences and motivation have significant differences.
(2) In terms of gender, age, education and occupation, certification level, and number of diving cylinders with no significant difference in motivation.
3. The background changed Kenting areas shaped differences of leisure diving participants in recreational benefits:
(1) Contributors vocational background, current place of residence, monthly income, certification level, experience in diving and diving and leisure benefits there are significant differences in the number of cylinders.
(2) in gender, age, education and leisure benefits there is no significant difference.
4. Related, leisure, participation motivation-benefit analysis results to higher motivation of the leisure to get higher benefits, while in "social demand" obtained by higher motives, "social benefit" and higher
