Numerical Investigation of LED Lamp Heat-Sink Design / LED燈具散熱鰭片設計之數值研究

碩士 / 國立屏東科技大學 / 車輛工程系所 / 100 / A study was carried out by using CFD to investigate the thermal module of LED lamp. This study will discuss the relationship between the heat distribution and heat transfer effect on the LED lamp cooling module, and then design heat sink to optimize parameters and save the cost of the test to get the best of the cooling module. In order to improve the simulation accuracy, the fluid mode selection and parameters of thermal radiation must be checked carefully. These design parameters including the influence of heat sink spacing, height, thickness and opening shape. In this paper, I used a method to design to optimize spacing parameters, and then change the height, thickness, and openings by A.Bejan et al(1996). Finally, the simulation result will compare with experiments result. Investigation results show that: (1) Heat sink height will affect the spacing. (2) Heat sink thickness will affect the overall thermal efficiency. (3) The opening shape will affect the airflow to the heat transfer efficiency. Experimental results can speed up the simulation speed and simplify up the accuracy of simulation correction. The parameter of experiment and simulation has difference, By validation the prototype of cooling modules in the simulation and experimental, The trend of heat transfer effect was the same, so we also confirmed that simulations, experiments and design equation.
