碩士 / 國立臺中教育大學 / 美術學系碩士班 / 100 / Nowadays, advocacy for “animal rights” has a huge impact on the society in ervery way, and it is getting more and more concern resulting from both the effort of Ethicists and animal rights organizations.The idea of “animal rights” not only sets up the base of vegetarianism but accelerates the establishment of animal protection laws and regulations. Even in the field of literature, film, art and design. With the developing trends in social economy, advertising is getting more and more mature; moreover, the public service advertising are playing an important role in the advertising industry. However, the issues concerned still mainly focus on the environment. Animal concerns are included in maintenance of biological diversity, against to fur and companion animals. This limitation is especially clear in Taiwan. So, "animal rights " characteristics needs total deeply studies. The purpose of this creation is to urge the public to uphold the principle of respect for life and extend their care to non-human beings. We have archived many public services posters ads related to the “animal rights”.
This research concluded what we have to work the hardest for animal protection by organizing the monographs, research papers and hot news on "animal rights " characteristics. Basically, the animals issues are : (1) companion animals; (2) wildlife ; (3) economic animals; (4) zoo and performing animals.
The research had turned the keywords of certain events and the concept of appeal into main elements before doing a sketch. After that, poster were created based on them. The skill of demonstration was the combination of vector drawing, hand drawing, and image processing. These works has four characteristics: (1) Satiric; (2)Minimal ; (3) Painterly; (4)Interesting advertising copy writer.I hope this creation would offer a new perspective on animal issues with posters. It wished there would be a chance to cooperate with animal protection organization which could do some help to promote the status of animals in the society.
