A study of the cognition and implementation intention of marine education of the public kindergarten teachers in Keelung / 基隆市公立幼稚園教師對海洋教育的認知與推行意願之研究

The purpose of this study is through a questionnaire survey to understanding the cognition and implementation intention of marine education of the public kindergarten teachers in Keelung. The consequences will be provided references for the related education authorities. The results are summarized as follows:
1. The best way of kindergarten marine education is through outdoor education, young students practical experience and exposure to the marine environment, close to the ocean, the culture of life in the implementation of the concept of conservation and responsibility.
2. The location of the subject teachers in their school to the Lok district up to; school-based multi-Elementary kindergarten; the number of classes are mostly a group; the majority of larvae of mixed age teaching; the number of larvae for more than 21-30; subject teachers only a proxy male teachers, female 99.3%; aged mostly between 31-40 years old; years of service for 10 years - less than 15 years up to; highest degree university; most of the subjects teachers are not participated in marine-related learning activities; more than half of teachers had not been for marine education courses, largely due to lack of awareness of teachers for marine education, adopted a wait-and-see attitude to the implementation of the policy of marine education in kindergarten.
3. The subject teachers' awareness of marine education was positively correlated with the implementation intention, that is, the higher the awareness level of teachers on marine education, to implement the wishes of the higher.

4. The subject teachers for the Government's marine education policy is not clear and the attitude of the school units in marine education, feel that I do not know how to co-ordinate, we can see the ocean education, advocacy, and the need to strengthen related knowledge and skills of teachers in marine education. And safety of young students, life experience and the lack of phase Wan materials, are the teachers to consider whether the implementation of the important factors for marine education in kindergarten.
5. Proposed kindergarten into the lower grades stage in the planning of marine education course outline can take root down and hold more marine education-related activities, they set up a marine education workshops to establish a comprehensive marine education network resources platform, in order to enhance kindergarten teachersmarine-related knowledge, and outdoor education through the ocean, while promoting marine education parent-child activities, to deepen the love for the sea of the larvae and the opportunity to know the sea.
