碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 環境生物與漁業科學學系 / 100 / Metallothionein has been widely used in environmental monitoring of heavy metal pollution, but most studies are focused on cadmium、zinc、copper and other heavy metals. Compared to the large-scale use lead, less study and discuss the relationship between lead and metallothionein. This research was selected the world's major edible shrimp species of white shrimp to figure out the relationship between lead and white shrimp tissues of the metallothionein expression in different salinity environments.
The metallothionein can be found in different tissues. The first four of the high parts in the metallothionein average expression in descending order were midgut、gill、eye、hepatopancreas. Each of metallothionein expression increases with the lead concentration, but there were correlation between metallothionein expression and lead accumulation significant.
The tissues of metallothionein expression with salinity, lead concentration, and time correlation equation was found to shell the highest correlation (R2 = 0.924), the lowest compared to the gills (R2 = 0.256).
