Factors Influencing the Selection of Entry Modes and Operating Business Types On Bank’s Overseas Institutions: Take L Bank For Example / 銀行海外據點進入模式與業務經營型態選擇影響因素之研究—以L銀行為例

This study is using L bank to conduct exploratory research when establishing its six overseas institutions to analyze the factors influencing the selection of entry mode and operating business types. The results show that: (1) Political and social environment, economy and trading environment, financial environment and decrees system will affect the entry model and the type of operating business when establishing overseas institution. (2) The opening of Act system of decree in the home country and the local legal system are the critical factors which influencing the entry model and the type of operating business when establishing overseas institution. (3) With the system of opening of Act system of decree in the home country and the local legal system, political and social environment factors (political stability, social and cultural), the financial environment factors (financial system, competition situation and international financial business needs) and the tax system will affect the entry model and type of operating business when establishing overseas institution. (4) The internal factors of operating goal, non-profit goals and the resources available for banks will affect the entry model and type of operating business when establishing overseas institution.
