碩士 / 南台科技大學 / 休閒事業管理系 / 100 / Many kind of animals have been domesticated as pets for a long time in history. In modern time, pets even play an important family member role and comfort people’ psychological stress. However, most pets studies focus on dogs and cats but aquarium pets. Therefore, this study attempts to understand the leisure motivation, enduring involvement and leisure benefit of ornamental fish raisers and to identify the relationships among these three variables. Convenience sampling method of questionnaire survey was conducted to collect data at three aquarium stores which were located in Tainan city. A total of 302 valid questionnaires were obtained. Six statistical methods were conducted, including descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results are as follows:
1.Significant differences were found in leisure motivation, enduring involvement and leisure benefit among respondent’s profile.
2.Respondents' leisure motivation had a significant influence on the enduring involvement.
3.Respondents' enduring involvement had a significant influence on the leisure benefit.
4.Respondents' leisure motivation had a significant influence on the leisure benefit.
5.It was shown that enduring involvement play a mediator role between motivation and benefit.
