The Research and Design of Natural Multimedia Teaching Materials "Fish are Different" for the Primary School. / 國小自然領域多媒體教材 「魚眾不同」之研發設計

碩士 / 亞洲大學 / 數位媒體設計學系碩士班 / 100 / This study mainly researches the evolution of teaching media and makes us understand the current situation of information technology, exploring the development modes of teaching media, such as ADDIE, ASSURE, and IMM . It also researches the related theory of multimedia and the guidelines of multimedia design. The study sorts and summarizes all the data to obtain the following information.
(1) The design modes and considerations of teaching multimedia
(2) The theory in the applications of teaching multimedia.
(3) The design principles of multimedia
The above theories can be put into the design principles of multimedia, which can be more convenient when we develop textbooks. The researchers choose the more familiar teaching materials about natural areas in the elementary schools, and these materials can be blended into marine education. On setting the theme of multimedia teaching materials “ Fish are different.”, I collect Website resources as well as reading resources, build content structure, and shoot films and photos personally . According to the researched documents, we get the design modes and considerations of teaching multimedia , and furthermore, we research and develop the materials under the design principles of multimedia.
We observe the students’ reactions after their using the teaching materials,
Proceed the modification of media, encourage the teachers to create their self-made teaching materials to attend the competitions, accept the experts’ advice . Finally we complete the textbooks after modification.
After the research of the literature and the practical operation of the media ,this study comes to the following conclusions:
(1)"The design modes and considerations of teaching multimedia "can be for reference as a media development.
(2)Summarizing” the theoretical applications in teaching multimedia” makes teaching materials more educative.
(3)Arranging the design modes of multimedia can make the design process more perfect, and make the considerations more completed.
(4)Originality comes from the continuous operations, and the sense of beauty needs professional help.
(5)By taking part in the media contests, we can gain valuable experiences.
(6)We can find lots of teaching materials on the Internet, but some of them have to be modified before they are used in teaching.

To sum up, the suggestions based on this study are as follows,
(1)Choose the theme cautiously, and combine the teachers’ professional specialties to develop the teaching materials together.
(2)Those who are good at programming can help to develop testing programs of multimedia
(3)The people who are interested in developing teaching materials can
prepare the materials as the backup at any time
(4)Making good use of teaching multimedia can make the teaching more interesting and lively.
