A Study of Citation Volumes in Cloud Computing & Application Literature - Utilizing Logistic Curve Time Series Model / 雲端運算與雲端應用之引文分析研究-運用邏輯斯時間序列迴歸模型

碩士 / 東海大學 / 統計學系 / 100 / Citation analysis is applied commonly to explore the relationship among literatures and to study further developments of some areas of research. One important quantitative measurement is the amount of citations of each other. If a literature reference is cited, this means that the literature provides relevant research information to those. The higher frequencies of citations indicate the greater influence to the others. Using the situation of a literature reference cited, we can understand the current situation of research and the development trends in future. This study utilizes the cloud computing and cloud computing applications related articles citations collected in Web of Science citation database as research data. Through fitting the data on the logistic curve time series regression model attaching with one extra polynomial time trend, we can describe the development trends of cloud computing and cloud computing application over the past twenty years. Utilizing the fitted model we predict the citation amounts of cloud computing and cloud computing application for 2010 and 2011.
