碩士 / 臺北市立教育大學 / 自然科學系碩士班 / 100 / The purpose of this study was to discuss the feasibility of applying Information Technology Integrated Instruction to the course of ocean conservation and how it influence the attitude of students toward ocean conservation knowledge, attitude, and behavior intention .
The study adopts quasi-experimental design. The subjects of the study are the fifth graders of primary school in Taipei City. One class was assigned to be an experiment group and was taught by the course materials applying Information Technology Integrated Instruction. The other class was assigned to be a control group and was learning under general instructional material. The researcher designed and wrote the teaching materials, and also acted as a teacher and observer in the entire process. The tools and techniques used in the research include “Ocean Conservation Concept Achievement Test”, “Ocean Conservation Attitude Scale”, “Ocean Conservation Behavior Intention Scale” and semi-structured interview. Based on the results from the above tests taken before and after the teaching, interview with the students along with the study log from the teacher and students, the researcher tried to conclude the effectiveness of applying Information Technology Integrated Instruction to the course of ocean conservation by differentiating the attitude, knowledge, behavior intention from students before and after attending the lessons. .
From both the qualitative and quantitative analysis show that applying Information Technology Integrated Instruction to the course of ocean conservation do help to strengthen the effectiveness of ocean conservation concept, ocean conservation attitude and ocean conservation behavior intention of students.
