碩士 / 臺北市立教育大學 / 數學資訊教育學系數學資訊教育教學碩士學位班 / 100 / This research explored the correlation between the mobile navigation system and student’s self-efficacy based on Bandura’s self-efficacy theory. Students used smart phones to scan QR Code to obtain local-culture learning materials via wireless environment. The researcher set up the mobile navigation system for the local-culture museum of an elementary school in Taipei City and tried to provide a context-aware ubiquitous learning environment. There were 149 5th-grade students in six classes participating in this experiment. After two weeks of learning activities, students filled out the self-efficacy questionnaires.
After analyzing the questionnaires, we obtain the following findings:
1. More than 80% students consider that the mobile navigation system can enhance their self-efficacy during the learning activities in local-culture museum.
2. Students hold positive attitude about using the mobile navigation in integrating ICT into local-culture teaching.
3. There is an apparently relevance between mobile navigation and the four aspects of self-efficacy, namely, frustration tolerance, delay of gratification, task difficulty, and task persistence.
