What so called “brave” is going to another sea for adventure regardless of any cost. We also can say, only when comfort zone is broken, we can be encouraged to go to another sea for different living style, just like another birth or life. Comfort zone support us but also hold us back. This story is talking about the transforming point to get out from comfort zone. When we have strong will to go to adventure, we do need to break things attached to comfort zone and turn what we left into boat of freedom. In the process of transforming, we have the chance to be born again .
Based on Human Movement, character animators develop different ways of performing and create distinct styles. Reborn in the Sea, which is influenced by dance and Butoh performance ,shows more realist style. This article takes my work Reborn in the Sea as example to describe the forming of my own hand draw animation style. The first chapter talks about the motivations of joining animation world and the summary of my animation experience before professional animation study. The second chapter talks about the making of Reborn in the Sea, including character and background design, script analysis, composition process and also talks about the thinking of animation performance through the dance impact. The final chapter describes my thought of animation and my expectation for future animation making.
