碩士 / 文藻外語學院 / 外語文教事業發展研究所 / 100 / The main purpose of this study is to explore whether the services provided in “Language Diagnostic and Consulting Center” of Wenzao Ursuline College of Language conform to users’ expectation and needs, and also correspond with the main purposes of the establishment of the center. Therefore, the “Language Diagnostic and Consulting Center” was the main subject and the participants were the users in this study. The total number of given out surveys was 250 and 201 effective questionnaires were returned. A questionnaire consists of 50 items was used to ask the participants’ perspectives towards the learning programs、self-learning effects、hardware facilities and attitudes of the service personnel. The descriptive statistics, the independent sample t-test, and the single factor variance analysis (One-Way ANOVA) were carried out with the SPSS 12.0 statistics software. The results showed that most users were satisfied with not only the LDCC services, but also with the effects of language ability and agreed that the resources in LDCC conformed to their needs. Besides, the users’ feedback towards the on-line learning resources updating and software renewing was positive. Finally it is suggested that the study could further investigate the correlation between the learning program and language writing and reading abilities, and examine further in what ways the programs offered in LDCC help user’s achieve their reading and writing competence.
