碩士 / 國立雲林科技大學 / 工業工程與管理研究所碩士班 / 100 / In the era of popular cloud technology, how to apply information technology effectively to enhance competitiveness among businesses has become a critical and importance issue for enterprises. However, when businesses expect to use information technology to optimize current operation and don’t have an in-depth understanding of users’ actual demands for operation, impractical information systems are bound to be created and extra costs of enterprises will be wasted if decision makers only accept improvement proposals recommended by information technology providers. In this way, expected effects and improvement won’t be achieved.
Warehousing, logistics and access control management of ironworks are targeted for improvement in system development of this research. In addition to in-depth interviews with actual users for an understanding of their demands, the approach of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) was adopted to analyze users’ requirements of different dimensions. Appropriate and real-time mobile function modules were located based on analysis results. It is expected the existing operation process can be optimized,
iii
the overall operation and system efficiency can be increased, waste of human resources will be prevented and costs of businesses can be retrenched.
