碩士 / 國防大學理工學院 / 造船及海洋工程碩士班 / 101 / It could be harmful to hull structure as submarines float upward and dive downward radically, and the vertical motion could cause the wave effect on the free surface with obvious wave detected by the enemy. Therefore, to reduce the influence of changing fluid loading, sluggish motions are always recommended for submarines. However, it is important to bear in mind that agility and speediness are crucial factors for naval ship design. Sluggish motion is namely to commit suicide for a naval submarine in sea battle. Thus, figuring out an appropriate moving model associating with optimized configuration is a remarkable issue for submarine designers. To study the problems mentioned above, three-dimensional submarine flow had been analyzed and the “Layering” dynamic mesh technique embedded in a numerical solver was used for flow computation. The numerical results obtained in the present research would benefit the design and development of future submarines.
