The subordinate units under the C.G.A. are Maritime Patrol Directorate General and the Coastal Patrol Directorate General. The C.G.A. sets "maritime law enforcement, maritime affairs and maritime services" as the core works. Ever since the duty content is not limited to maritime law enforcement, but also for other transactions occurred in the ocean to provide services, and look forward to more effectively manage the preservation of the marine development.
The execution of the maritime public authority, however, rely on the professional competence of Coast Guard colleagues and
patrol vessels. In view of the ocean management needs diversification, single frigates perform various duties, including patrol duties, rescue mission, search and rescue tasks, tasks oceanographic whether it does not match the demand, the discussion is worth mentioning. Patrol ship in accordance with international conventions, domestic law, the Coast Guard law decree paid duties, often in harsh environments, in the waters surrounding Taiwan to perform various tasks, the actual occurrence of the design of the vessel, except the function of the ship in accordance with law and order demand additional other features to meet the required task execution.
By my own service Wei Shin Patrol Vessel experience, I understand the logistical planning and the status of implementation of the large vessel. By collecting the Wei Shin Patrol Vessel designed construction of the relevant information, and logistical implementation of case studies to analyze the problems of logistical execution. Finally, provide specific recommendations and policy for relevant units to reduce the duty risk and improve logistical efficiency.
